Course: Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine
If you choose this program, you’ll prepare for the independent practice of acupuncture, a Chinese system of health care and healing. You’ll study pulse diagnosis, acupuncture points, and how to properly place and insert acupuncture needles. You’ll explore Asian philosophy, Chinese medical anatomy and physiology, Chinese herbs, and other Asian treatments in depth and cover the basics of Western medicine. Additional topics include pain management and practice management.
