Course: Ecology and Evolutionary Biology

If you choose this field of study, you’ll explore how different levels of biological organization -- genes, organisms, species, and ecosystems -- relate to and affect one another, and how these relationships change over time. You’ll learn how species arise and how they change, how biodiversity has evolved, and how the interaction between organisms and their environment affects this evolution. Topics of study include ecology, genetics, evolution, population and conservation biology, animal and plant diversity, statistical analysis of biological data, and ethics.
