Course: High Performance and Custom Engine Technology

If you choose this program of study, you’ll specialize in the repair, service, and maintenance of high-performance vehicles. You’ll learn how to increase the power of diesel and car engines, and to enhance the overall performance of cars. Topics of study include adding performance accessories; modifying power trains; and tuning custom engines, suspension systems, and exhaust systems. You’ll also use dynamometers and other diagnostic equipment to measure the power of different kinds of vehicles.
