Course: Natural Resource Recreation and Tourism

If you choose this major, you’ll prepare for a management career in ecotourism -- tourism in natural settings that’s environmentally responsible, culturally sensitive, and economically sensible. The program will combine “green” course work in areas like environmental studies and education with business classes in tourism, marketing, and public relations. You’ll also look at policy studies that cover the use of public lands and investigate ways to help local communities benefit from the tourism industry.
