Course: Protective Services Operations

Students in this program learn how to provide physical security protection to clients. They build skills in such areas as combat, vehicular security, perimeter control, and crowd control. Courses also cover security intelligence, operations planning, weapons and explosives (including weapons of mass destruction), security and surveillance systems, communications systems, related laws, and more. Some programs offer specialized courses in a type of environment or situation, such as transportation by land, air, or water.
