Course: Public Administration

If you major in public administration, you’ll learn how they do it. You’ll build the skills it takes to bring together diverse groups -- from neighborhood associations to private businesses -- and change communities for the better.

Course Spotlight
In an introductory course in public policy, you’ll learn about the current issues that India policy makers face, such as crime, health care, environmental quality, and welfare. You will study the processes by which policy is made and put into action.
You'll also learn how policy makers balance the needs of various groups, from garbage collectors threatening to strike for a pay raise to the residents whose garbage won’t be picked up if they do strike.
