Course: Research and Development Management

If you choose this program, you’ll specialize in managing research and development -- two key phases in the introduction of new and improved products and processes. In class, you’ll learn to apply business management principles and practices to the leadership of projects, programs, and organizations in the sciences, medicine, engineering, and the social sciences. You may need to demonstrate technical competence in at least one area of research before beginning the program, or you may be able to develop those skills in the course of your studies.
