Course: Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology

If you choose this field of study, you’ll gain the engineering and technical skills you need to operate, maintain, and repair the machinery used to turn silicon into microchips. Microchips are key ingredients in computers and other electronic gadgets. Along with the basics of digital systems, you’ll study AC and DC circuits, solid-state devices, vacuums, industrial electronics, manufacturing processes, and quality assurance.
