We\u2019ve all heard the phrase \u201cherding cats,\u201d and if you\u2019ve ever tried it, you know why it\u2019s such a perfect metaphor for chaos! As a proud cat parent to three mischievous furballs, I can confirm: they absolutely have minds of their own. Try to get them to do anything in unison, and it\u2019s pure pandemonium.<\/p>

Sometimes, managing co-workers\u2014or building a skills taxonomy <\/a><\/strong><\/span>\u2014feels the same way.<\/p>

That\u2019s why creating a tailored skills taxonomy is one of the biggest pain points we hear about from customers as they embark on the journey to become skills-based.<\/a><\/strong><\/span> The question comes up time and again: \u201cHow do I even start?\u201d<\/p>
